Website re-design for a gourmet food store.
Project Details
Maunder's Food Shop is a butcher and fine food grocer located in Aurora, ON. It recently came under new ownership, and the new owners were looking to re-design their website. The new website had to reflect the quality of the products they offer. They were also looking to boost the catering side of their business.
Goals
The goal of the new website was to
- Provide a modern web presence
- Increase and convert visitors
- Offer relevant information about catering services and in-store events
- Give users the means to contact the firm, request a quote.
- Allow the Maunder's Staff to easily manage content on the site.
Solution
In order to capture the essence of the store, I wanted to design a website that was big on imagery, really showcasing the wonderful foods available at the store. Some of the features proposed for the site to reach its goals were a 360 virtual tour of the store, Bold CTAs and native Menus.
